And recently, I just discovered that I have arachnophobia, the fear of spiders.
Back to square one, my greatest fear would be being left alone. And, this is the reason why I hate goodbyes. Sure, goodbyes happen even if we don’t utter the words. But I’d like to believe that we didn’t really part. If I say goodbye, it’ll mean the end. So I choose not to say goodbye because I look forward to our next meeting, no matter how long it make take.
For friends, I usually say, “see you when I see you”, and sometimes “see you soon” even if that ‘soon’ is indefinite. But I like the ring to it, the feeling of meeting again. No goodbyes. I’m sure we’re to meet again.
