To develop your core, it is suggested that you perform the “alphabet plank” which will effectively help you build core strength and stability. To perform the alphabet plank, simple follow these simple steps:
1. Assume a modified plank position– place your knees and feet on the ground and your elbows and forearms should be 12-18 inches apart on a stability ball. For those who don’t know, a stability ball is a large inflatable ball that you sit on, lean on and use as a substitute for a bench.
2. Don’t be too tensed and keep your hands in loose fists while your arms should be shoulder-width apart.
3. Spell out the letters of the alphabet while rolling on the ball. The small and unpredictable movement will target your abs efficiently.
