I got a mail from the postman today. I was kind of excited because, well no one writes to me. And not so surprisingly, the mail is not a letter but a Premium Notice from my Insurance company.

You see, two years ago, when I was still a corporate slave, I got myself a life insurance, variable life insurance with investing fund options. Now is my third year and they are reminding me that I have premium to settle. Due date of payment is on 22 October, 2009… amounting to Php38,490… Well, here’s a news to they, I already paid Php40,000 last Sunday through BPI express online.. yep, I am high tech! I pay my bills online!

Hair Pays for the Car Maintenance

I sent my driver out to the car dealership today. I want my car’s rear suspension replaced. Although this is not a scheduled maintenance, I have to get that one replaced because the noise every time I drive is getting in my nerves.

The Driver just send me an SMS saying that the whole cost of the replacement, plus the combustion engine cleanup and the service is Php24,000! That’s pricey but what can I do, cars have his own budget (supposedly). I just hope that there are lots of hair to trim or color or bond today to earn more moolah for the car.

Went to the mall today to watch a new movie with my niece, Chloe. Chloe is such a nice little girl. She’s turning 14 next month and already in her mid highschool years. Two more years and she’ll be all grown up and ready for college!

Anyway, I promised her last week that we’ll go and watch a movie today. The movie we saw was Yaya ang Angelina the spoiled brat movie. It stars Michael V and Ogie Alcasid. The movie is good all in all but it’s just too immature and not suitable for a 44 year old hair dresser with a young lady. I promised chloe that we’ll see another movie soon.

After the movie, we grab something to eat at KFC, wall for a while and went back home.

Oh, we bought a few burgers for her mom and pop.
