My hair is rebonded since January 2010. And i noticed my hair is damaged and become frizzy. I tried lots of treatment but gone nothing. Until i realized when i was still young, my mom uses coconut oil for our hair to become it more thicker.
Once a week i applied coconut oil on my hair, and it look good after. Together with scalp massage, it stimulate the circulation and it keep my scalp moisturized. Some other people uses coconut oil because they have hair loss. Hair loss actually and your desire to re-grow it is no laughing matter. Coconut oil has its natural oils and proteins to help keep hair from losing protein, which is one of the major contributors to hair breakage and hair loss.
Using coconut oil in our scalp can also help to keep it free from lice. It enhances shine and gives an incredible glossy softness to the hair.

Hair care should not mean overspending at salons. It only takes basic hair care routines to get a healthy mane. Here’s the following tips:
1. Regularly use the shampoo and conditioner recommended for your hair type ( permed, color-treated) to offset the effects of sunlight and pollution.
2. Have your hair trimmed every five to six weeks to avoid split ends and save your current style.
3. Never use harsh nylon or metal combs or brushes if your hair strands are brittle.
4. Don’t brush wet hair. Use a wide-toothed comb to separate the tangles.
5. Don’t comb hair too much because this strips it of natural oils if your hair is dry. It over-stimulates the oil glands if you have oily hair.
6. Don’t brush or comb starting from the back. It will damage the hair strands.
7. Do regular exercises, especially head bends, to encourage blood circulation.

Here are a couple of hair care tips for red hairs, for brunette.

Hair Care Tips for Brunette
Turn on the light in the bathroom or whatever room the mirror is in. Now, look in the mirror. Do you have hair? If so, you can go brown. It’s true, even if you have very pale skin or very dark skin, there is a shade of brunette that is right for you. Let’s start with the pale, or melatonin challenged; think of opposites. The lighter your skin tone, the richer your brown shade should be. I know that doesn’t sound like it should be that way, but think of the contrast. If you have light skin and go for a light brown shade for your locks, it may make you appear to be washed out, even tired looking. Most of us are busy and lacking the proper sleep as it is; we don’t need counterproductive help from our new shade. Try a dark chocolate color, and while you are waiting for it to process, try eating some dark chocolate!
Now, if you are not as melatonin challenged as others, try a lighter shade ;like a chestnut brown. Once again think of contrast. If you have olive colored skin, try adding some beautifully delicious honey tones in the form of highlights or tinted gloss on a base color not much darker than a medium brown. If you have dark skin try adding lots and lots of gold and honey highlights all over. There are new hair color products on the market made primarily for brunette hair, whether for the base color or for adding highlights. Also, there are special haircoloring kits with the base color and a highlighting step as well. These are all at-home products costing around $20.00US or less, and can produce a very nice result; though you may need to enlist the help of a friend, unless you’re a contortionist, to reach some of those spots in the back for a more even result.

If your hair hair is dry due to chemical services see permed hair or color treated hair solutions below. Dry hair is due to a lack of moisture and more importantly humectants and lipids (essential fatty acids).
Proper hair care can solve this concern easily. Dry hair is commonly due to:
1) Environmental damage – sun, heat, outside chemicals…
2) Mechanical damage – blow drying, curling irons, hot rollers…
3) Chemical damage – perms, color, bleach (see below)
In each case lipids are lost from the hair. These lipids are humectants which attract and hold moisture into the hair. They need to be replaced.

According to the original website post, the article was take from a june 2006 article from FITNESS Magazine.
Here’s what we read:
Get shiny, silky hair with these four blow-dry tips from Dean Banowetz — the stylist who transforms the tresses of American Idol finalists.
1. Prep with the right styling products.
“Try these product ‘cocktails’ to customize your look,” says Banowetz. For a sleek style, mix an anti-frizz cream with a shine serum; if you need more hold, combine with a gel. Rub products between palms and on tops of hands (this helps to coat more strands), then flip your head over and rake through hair, starting at the roots and working toward the top layers. “Always apply styling agents to wet hair for even distribution,” he advises.
2. Separate small sections.
“The more time you take, the longer the style will last,” says Banowetz. First, tousle hair gently with the dryer to remove at least 50 percent of moisture. Create a circular part at the top of your head and clip, then continue clipping every inch and a half until you reach your neck. Starting with the bottom layer, unclip and direct airflow onto each small section from the root down to the ends. “Blowing the hair in opposite directions will just create flyaways,” explains Banowetz.
3. Use the right brush.
The size and shape of your brush can determine the outcome — round brushes give bend at the ends, paddles create a stick-straight style, and boar bristles are placed close together to pull strands smooth. “Brushes hold on to heat and continue to style even when the dryer is off,” says Banowetz.
4. Put some muscle into it.
The more tension you create, the better the blow-out (just don’t pull too hard).

If you have lost nearly 90 per cent of your hair over a period of 10 months, then this is a matter of great alarm. Before doing anything else, you should get your scalp medically examined by a trichologist. This is the kind of doctor that specializes specifically in the care of the hair and scalp and all conditions related to them.
If you are suffering from an ailment that is specific to your scalp, in all likelihood, it would be this kind of doctor who will be able to diagnose it accurately. It is possible that you are suffering from a condition like alopecia, which will need to be treated with the help of a proper course of medication. Once you have been able to get an accurate diagnosis, it will be easier to tackle the problem, as you can then work toward removing it from the roots.
If you have already done this, then you can simply follow additional methods which will only add to the positive effects that will be a result of what the doctor has already recommended. In order to naturally regrow lost hair, you should begin taking evening primrose oil. This is a rare product that is also expensive. You may not be able to find it easily, and chances are that you may have to order it online.
