This may sound like a spam article but the Folic Acid and Grey Hair blog post is taken from a wordpress blog by fabulous45. And it goes:

MANY years ago, I was watching one of the morning news shows while getting ready for work.  One of the expert women doctors on the show recommended that extra folic acid be part of every woman’s extra vitamin supplement intake.  She believed it was an effective anti-aging and beneficial vitamin. I began taking folic acid that week and have taken it every morning.  That was probably a good 15 years ago.

I’ve heard that extra folic acid prevents grey hair.  Guess what – I’ve got a few grey hairs here and there, but I don’t color my hair at all.  That’s pretty good for someone almost 46 years old.  Is it really the folic acid?  Who knows for sure – but I will continue to take extra folic acid.  If you’ve already GOT grey hair, I’m not sure what it might do for you.  If anyone has experience with that, let me know!

I have a friend who says she HAD grey hair and then started drinking green tea on a regular basis (several cups every day).  She says her grey hair went away.
